Data Deletion Instructions

1. Delete game data on your device

Spell Trail currently has no game account registration or cloud save service operated by us. Progress, inventory, currency balances, settings, and records of delivered rewards and processed purchases are stored on your device. We do not hold a server copy of your game save and cannot remotely delete it.

Android

1. Open your device’s Settings and go to Apps.
2. Select Spell Trail, then open Storage or Storage & cache.
3. Choose Clear storage or Clear data and confirm. Clearing the cache alone does not delete your game save.

Menu names vary by device and Android version. You can uninstall the game afterwards if you also want to remove the app. See Google’s guidance on clearing app data.

iPhone or iPad

1. Touch and hold Spell Trail on your device.
2. Tap Remove App, then Delete App.
3. Confirm deletion. Removing the icon from the Home Screen or using Offload App retains app data; use Delete App to remove the app and its local data.

Before deleting: Removing local data can permanently erase your progress, items, currency and previously delivered consumable entitlements. We do not have a server copy of your save to restore.

2. Review device and system backups

Deleting local data does not necessarily remove copies in iCloud, Google or other device backups. Review your system and backup provider’s settings and remove backed-up Spell Trail data where available. Restoring an older backup may restore game data. Backup copies are managed by the relevant platform and your backup settings.

3. Request deletion of information we hold

You can request deletion of personal information within our control, such as your email address, support messages, attachments and related correspondence. You do not need to install or open the game to make this request.

1. Email [email protected] with the subject Spell Trail Data Deletion Request.
2. Tell us which information you want deleted. You may request deletion of all personal information we hold about you, or only specific messages or attachments.
3. If possible, send the request from the email address you previously used to contact us. Include the game name, platform (Android or iOS), and any relevant support email dates so we can locate the records.

Send only information needed to identify your request. Do not send passwords, full payment card details or copies of identity documents unless we explain why additional verification is necessary.

4. What happens after your request

We will review your request, ask only for information needed to confirm it, and respond within the period required by applicable law. Once verified, we will delete the information within our control that can be deleted and explain any limits that apply.

Support records are kept only as needed to respond, resolve issues and meet applicable obligations. Information required for legal obligations or unresolved disputes may need to be retained for as long as those obligations or disputes require. If an exception applies, we will explain the relevant information and retention reason in our response.

5. Advertising, purchases and other providers

Google AdMob, Apple App Store, Google Play, and hosting or email providers may process information under their own policies. Deleting local game data or emailing us does not automatically delete records independently controlled by these providers, such as advertising records or store purchase history. Use their privacy channels for requests about those records.

You can manage applicable advertising consent through the advertising privacy entry under Settings and Help on the game’s My page when that entry is available, and manage tracking or advertising identifiers through your device settings. Changing these settings does not itself delete previously collected data.
